New ad for Samsung Galaxy S6 focuses on wireless charging

Samsung's latest television commercial for the Samsung Galaxy S6 is all about the wireless charging. Well, that is unless you're a fan of British singer Rita Oro, who saunters into the commercial carrying her brand new Galaxy S6. Obviously concerned by the dwindling amount of battery life on her spanking new handset, she plops it onto the wireless charging pad.
The small print at the bottom of the ad tells us that the average time to recharge from 0% to 100% wirelessly is 180 minutes, or 3 hours. Oro must have spent a few hours at the studio because the ad shows the battery progressively ...

Huawei released a pretty rockin' trailer for the Honor 4X, its latest mid-range smartphone. By the way, this one's already on pre-order in Europe for 200 EUR (US $211) unlocked. It's the LeTV x600, the lowlier cousin of the nearly bezel-less LeTV x900 smartphone, which the Chinese entertainment company will reveal tomorrow, April 14. If it wasn't for the bezels, one would surely mistake the x600 for the more interesting smartphone, because both devices have an exceedingly simple, clean design - you won't even see a logo on the front panel.

According to a new rumor from Sammobile, Samsung is gearing up to release a new smartphone called the Samsung Galaxy A8 (SM-A800F). Like the three previous smartphones in the Galaxy A series (the Galaxy A3, the Galaxy A5, and the Galaxy A7) the Galaxy A8 is said to come with an all-metal build. Karalux, which is Vietnam's answer to Western luxury smartphones and gifts brands, showed off its latest and greatest - the Samsung Galaxy S6 & S6 edge, covered in multiple ounces of 24K gold bling-bling.
