Just a few hours before the highly anticipated Apple Watch will be available for pre-orders, Apple has shut down the Apple Store. Huawei SnapTo hands-on
4/9/2015 10:32:00 PM

Here in the US, Huawei is still commonly known to do a lot of business in the entry-level segment of the smartphone market. Normally, we're dealt with aggressively priced on-contract phones, but this time around, they're going the no-contract route with the Huawei SnapTo, which was just announced recently. During Pepcom's DigitalFocus event held in New York City, we caught up with the Huawei folks to check out this new, affordably priced device.

4/9/2015 9:41:00 PM

According to Phandroid, the update improves the One M9's camera capabilities ...

Google is "close" to bringing Android Wear to iOS, but will Apple allow this?
4/9/2015 8:39:00 PM

Introduced by Google last year, Android Wear is a platform that, for now, is compatible only with devices running Android 4.3 or later. However, as you may remember, Google didn't rule out the possibility of making Android Wear work with other platforms. In fact, according to The Verge, Google is already "close to finishing the final technical details" that will let Android Wear users pair their smartwatches with iOS devices. Naturally, this would enable all Android Wear wearables to directly compete with the Apple Watch, which will be launched later this month, on April 24.

Reportedly, ...

T-Mobile says the Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9 are already more successful than the S5 and M8
4/9/2015 4:38:00 PM

Starting tomorrow, April 10, US customers will be able to go in stores and buy a Samsung Galaxy S6, a Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, or an HTC One M9 (either unlocked, or from a major carrier).

While reminding us that the S6, S6 edge and One M9 will be widely available tomorrow, T-Mobile also mentioned that, since it began taking orders and shipping the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, "customer response has been through the roof." According to the magenta carrier, Galaxy S6 series sales are already "nearly double" those of the S5 (which was previously T-Mobile's most popular Galaxy handset).
