New LG G4 teasers show more on Quantum IPS display, f/1.8 camera

LG has been sharing videos and information about the upcoming flagship G4 legitimately. Lately, we also reported that there will be a dual-SIM version of the G4. Today, LG has shared two teaser videos basically showing how the key components were tested and then included in the phone. The first video is of the Quantum IPS display testing to achieve more natural and accurate colors. In the second video, the f/1.8 camera module with five element lens shows its brilliance. The Lumia 640, which was announced last month at MWC 2015, made a brief appearance yesterday on the US Microsoft Store website, giving us an idea about the carrier pricing for the device in the country. Huawei's P8 smartphone, which was announced by the company last week, has sold out on its first day of release - the device was launched yesterday in China, where it was made available through the company's online shop Vmall for a price tag of 3,588 CNY ($579). Specs-wise, the handset is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 930 chipset and sports a 5.2-inch 1080p display. It comes with 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory, and packs in a 2680 mAh battery. Lenovo unveils K80, a phone with 4GB RAM and 4,000 mAh battery

Just a few months after Asus announced the ZenFone 2, the world's first smartphone with 4GB RAM, Lenovo has also unveiled a handset with 4 GB of random-access memory. It's worth mentioning that Xiaomi's Mi Note Pro also comes with 4GB RAM. Dubbed K80, the smartphone is powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom chipset with 1.8GHz CPU, and sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display. As already mentioned, it comes with 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, and packs in a huge 4000 mAh battery. In terms of camera, the K80 features a 13 MP rear unit with Optical Image Stabilization. The 8.5mm-thin device runs Android Lollipop and comes in black, silver, and red color options. Microsoft says it sold 8.6 million Lumia devices in its fiscal Q3

Microsoft has announced its fiscal 2015 Q3 (quarter that ended on March 31) earnings report, revealing that it sold 8.6 million Lumia devices in the quarter, up 18% year-on-year but down 18% compared to the prior quarter. Lumia sales brought in a revenue of $1.4 billion, down 16% compared to the year-ago quarter. Microsoft said the decline was due to a "higher mix of low royalty devices." The software giant also revealed that it sold a total of 24.7 million feature phones in the quarter, down compared to the same quarter last year.
