One of the hardest natural disasters to prepare for, and predict, are earthquakes. Technology exists that can help predict when earthquakes might occur, but they are very expensive to build out and maintain.

We've seen the Samsung Galaxy S6 dropped from a height of 10 feet, landing smack right on the glass. We've seen the recently released handset also fall from a professional drop machine and stop working after a particularly bad impact. Other tests dropped the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, used it as a walnut cracker, and tested its ability to resist water.

The iPhone 6 Plus is being attributed to folks using their Apple tablets a bit less. The most obvious casualty, the iPad mini, while having a screen size that is better than 2-inches larger, is simply less portable than a smartphone.

The need for a multi-SIM capable device is virtually non-existent in the United States. It is however, a very real consideration in other parts of the world, where rates, coverages, and other features do not necessarily overlap.
