Turkey blocks Twitter and YouTube following their refusal to take down a particular image

The government of Turkey blocked access to YouTube and Twitter in the country after both refused to take down images of a murdered Istanbul prosecutor. Facebook, on the other hand, said that it had complied with an order from a Turkish court which required it to restrict access to some content or face getting blocked. While complying with the court order, Facebook said it would appeal it.

Octa-core ZTE Blade S6 Plus now available on eBay for under $300

ZTE Blade S6 Plus, a smartphone that was officially announced last month, is now available to buy around the world via eBay. This is ZTE's way of officially releasing the new handset, which is being introduced shortly after the 5-inch Blade S6, a slightly smaller, but relatively similar device.

Like the Blade S6, the ZTE Blade S6 Plus runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, and is powered by a 64-bit, octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor. However, the S6 Plus sports a larger display: a 5.5-inch IPS one with 720 x 1280 pixels.

Apple might have been too hasty to release Apple Maps back in 2012, especially considering that it was not yet ready for prime time. Who could forget some of the ugly stories that came out around that time. CEO Tim Cook did the unthinkable, telling iPhone users that they should employ a rival mapping service until Apple Maps is fixed, even mentioning Google Maps by name.

AT&T just announced that it's going to launch a new Android tablet this week: the Asus MeMO Pad 7 LTE (model number ME375CL). The new slate will be available to buy starting April 10, the day when AT&T will also release the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, as well as the HTC One M9 (of course, the M9 can already be ordered online).
