Successor to Microsoft Surface Pro 3 may not land until October

With the announcement of the Surface 3, whose design language borrows from the still successful Surface Pro 3, and the upcoming Build 2015 developer conference, Microsoft may opt to release the Pro 3's successor later in the year when Windows 10 is launched, rather than the June/July timeframe.
While that would not make those waiting on the new tablet very happy, it does make sense to release the new Surface Pro device when Windows 10 is available, as it would be the first device to deliver with Microsoft's new operating system pre-loaded.

HTC to offer automobile integration with Cello?

According to a Reddit author who posted what appears to be an HTC Release Note, the company is working on a device called Cello that is expected to integrate with cars more than Android Auto does. The features on the device include "Night Vision, Sonar, Mini HMI (Human Machine Interface), DVD, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Lane Departure Warning System, Navigation and GPS."

According to a report out of Shanghai, Samsung paid 500 people to pretend to be Samsung fans at a press conference held Friday in China to show off the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge. The 500 fake fans represented half of the 1000 who attended the event. According to someone who recruited "fans" for the manufacturer, Samsung was seeking people under 30 who looked like students. They were each paid the equivalent of $4.80 USD once they stuck it out at the event for at least an hour. The recruiters received the equivalent of $3.20 USD for each person they got to attend.

A confidential video sent to Apple Store employees by Apple retail head Angela Ahrendts explained that online pre-orders for the Apple Watch will begin on April 10th at 8:01am U.K. time. If you're living in the U.S., that works out to 3:01am EDT or 12:01am PDT on the same date. If you live in the states and want to make sure that you get to pre-order the timepiece on the 10th, better set your alarm clock accordingly.

Supply appears to have finally stabilized with Google's banner bearing Nexus 6 smartphone. A lot of people initially winced at the full retail price of the device, signaling an end to Google subsidized unlocked devices for $300.
That has not hampered the apparent demand for the unlocked Nexus 6 from Google, but still if you have the chance to save a few bucks, why not take advantage of it.
