16MP rear camera for the next Motorola Moto X to come with OIS?

Just the other day, we passed along some rumored specs for the third-generation Motorola Moto X. According to the leak, the next version of the Motorola Moto X will come with a 16MP camera carrying Clear Pixel technology. The front-facing camera, used for selfies and video chats, should weigh in at 5MP. The second-generation Motorola Moto X comes with a 13MP rear snapper and a 2MP front-facing camera.

The AWS-3 spectrum auction this past winter was a grand affair of competing songs from T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, and Dish Network. The auction brought in more than double the expected revenue from bidders, AT&T and Dish being the big winners.

The LG G4 is a hot little number joining the clan of 2015 flagships, and if you read our review of it, then chances are you are waiting eagerly for it to take the stage with the major carriers in the next few weeks.

Like all smartphones that join the US market, they must pass muster with the FCC to make sure all the specifications are compliant with the regulations.

To that end, two LG models have passed through the FCC, model numbers VS986 and LS991. The paperwork in the filings do not mention the G4 directly, but the model numbers are sequential to the LG G3 released on Verizon ...

 

MetroPCS legacy CDMA network to go dark on June 21st

T-Mobile has been operating well ahead of schedule re-farming the MetroPCS network. Initial plans were that the legacy CDMA network of the old MetroPCS would continue to operate through much of 2015.

However, the LTE spectrum conversions have been moving so efficiently, T-Mobile is moving its plans forward to optimize the two networks completely.
