Sony has launched the new Xperia C4 and the Xperia C4 Dual smartphones, which they are calling a "selfie smartphone". Both phones have a 5.5-inch, 1920x1080 resolution IPS display, 64-bit MediaTek MTK6752 SoC with 1.7GHz octa-core CPU and Mali 760 MP2 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory with microSD support, LTE, 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5 megapixel front camera also with an LED flash, 2,600mAh battery, and Android 5.0 Lollipop. Motorola posts Android 5.1 release notes for 1st and 2nd gen Moto X

Motorola has posted release notes for the Android 5.1 update for both the first and second-gen Moto X as well as the Moto X Pure Edition, indicating that the devices are set to receive the update soon. The first-gen Moto X is still at Android 4.4.4, which means that the Android 5.1 update for the device will also bring along Android 5.0 features, including Material Design, Lock Screen notifications, Quick Settings, a new flashlight option as part of Quick Settings, and the new Recent Apps page. As for the second-gen Moto X and Moto X Pure Edition, which are already on Android 5.0, the update will bring along features such as Device Protection, Heads-up Notifications, reduced camera noise in low-light shots, as well as some performance-related improvements and bug fixes.
