Well, the results are in, and they're a bit surprising as they bring a brand new winner up front - it is... drumroll, please... Samsung's new TouchWiz UI! It turned out to be superior in a handful of key areas - lock & home screen, app drawer and notification drawer, recent apps menu, organizer apps (Calendar, calculator, and clock), and camera. It got 6,776 ...

5/10/2015 11:14:00 PM

A variant of the thinnest smartphone in the world has been certified by TENAA in China. At 7.29mm thick, the Vivo X5Max s might not come close to the 4.75mm thickness of the Vivo X5Max. But the extra space goes to good use as a 4150mAh battery is shoehorned inside. The X5Max on the other hand, can only fit a smaller 2000mAh battery inside the unit.

The design is the same as the one used by the X5Max with a two tone metal build. The X5Max s will be equipped with a 5.5-inch screen carrying a 1080 x 1920 resolution. Under the hood is the octa-core MediaTek MT6752 with 2GB of RAM inside. 16GB ...

Here's why there is no native browser on the Apple Watch
5/10/2015 9:10:00 PM

Apple didn't stuff a native browser into the Apple Watch. But iOS jailbreaker Comex was able to hack a browser onto the timepiece which he used to get to the Google web site. Watch OS 1.0 is a version of iOS 8.2 with a front-end tweak for the wearable. This probably helped Comex with his hack since much of what he needed to add the browser to the device was already available to him.

Using a browser on the Apple Watch would require too much scrolling to make it a positive experience for Apple Watch users. While apps can currently run on the Apple Watch thanks to its pairing with the Apple ...

The reason was simple enough, Chen did not have one. That led Legere to tweet that he would have to look for the executive on MySpace. Snap! What could be more embarrassing for the top executive of a major smartphone manufacturing company than to be called a MySpace user in public.

Last week, we told you that the feud between T-Mobile and BlackBerry had ended. On Wednesday, the old-school ...
