Week 18 in review: LG G4, Xperia P2 and Blackberry devices

Another week has passed and so it's time to recap the major events to the tech scene from the last few days. As most of you surely know, the LG G4 is official and it delivers on everything the rumors promised. LG's flagship comes with a very distinctive style due to its genuine leather stitched back and very slightly curved display. Sony has also had a major presence in the news this week. For anyone that might have missed it, the long-overdue Xperia Z4 was made official, but in a rather surprising fashion. Quietly launched in Japan the phone might lose the Z4 moniker on international markets, and instead be called the Z3+. Blackberry also came out with a major surprise this week. Three mysterious new devices have leaked in photos and renders, including a very interesting slider with a double-edged touchscreen, much like the one on the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge. In other news, after a lot of speculation, Nokia has officially denied plans to re-enter the smartphone market next year. The decision is still shrouded with a lot of controversy, though, so here's to hoping the legendary company will reconsider its retirement from smartphones. Three new Blackberry phones leaked in photos Three mysterious new Blackberry devices have popped up in leaked photos. Sony Xperia Z4 to launch internationally as Xperia Z3+ Bearing the same internals and design, the Xperia Z3+ might be released without much fanfare. Model numbers for "Noble" Note 5 and "Zen" Galaxy S6 uncovered The numbers are SM-N920 and SM-G928 respectively, with a number of regional variations. Nokia officially denies plans to re-enter smartphone market Recent rumors suggested that the Finnish company might release a smartphone at some point in 2016. Xiaomi Mi 5 might include a fingerprint sensor Chinese startup might be including a fingerprint sensor in the next flagship Mi 5. Samsung's new custom CPU cores 45% faster than A57 Samsung may already be testing its custom Mongoose cores, which may end up in chips, as soon as next year. LG G4 said to be cheaper than Galaxy S6 in Germany Last week, there were reports that LG's upcoming flagship will be costlier than the S6.
