Plastic clad HTC One M9ew is certified in China by TENAA

A version of the HTC One M9+ made in plastic, the HTC One M9ew, has been certified by China's TENAA. This model has the same specs as the HTC One M9+ except for the Duo camera which has been replaced with a single lens snapper. This model features a 5.2-inch screen with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. An octa-core 2.2GHz CPU (most likely a MediaTek chip) is under the hood with 3GB of RAM inside. With T-Mobile's support page now live, the Microsoft Lumia 435 should be launched soon in the states

T-Mobile subscribers will apparently soon have the opportunity to purchase the entry-level Microsoft Lumia 435. While the carrier has yet to officially announce that it will be offering the phone, a support page for the handset has been put up by T-Mobile. We've been expecting a U.S. presence for the phone ever since it appeared on Microsoft's U.S. Lumia website in January.

The Microsoft Lumia 435 carries a 4-inch LCD screen with resolution of 480 x 800. That works out to a pixel density of 233ppi. A dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 CPU is under the hood with the Adreno 302 GPU crunching ...

Lee Young-hee, the head of marketing for Samsung's mobile division, recently announced that Samsung is about to release Iron Man versions of the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge smartphones. The announcement was made today by Lee Young-hee after watching the recent Avengers: Age of Ultron movie at a special event in Seoul. The Samsung executive mentioned that the color of the smartphones will be red, and that the Iron Man versions of the S6 and S6 edge will be launched either in late May or early June.

Apple's new Beats streaming music service is expected to be unveiled along with iOS 8.4 next month. For some time, Apple has been negotiating with performers and labels in an effort to reduce royalty rates. But Apple is also taking another tact. Reports published today suggest that the brass in Cupertino is trying to get music publishers to force streamers like Spotify to stop offering consumers ad-supported free tiers of service. Of Spotify's 60 million subscribers, only 15 million are paying for music.

Back in March, word got out that Samsung is planning to release a successor to its original Tizen-based smartphone, the Samsung Z1. Expected to be called the Samsung Z2, the updated Tizen smartphone is said to be launched at some point during the first half of 2015, meaning that we could be only a few weeks away from its official unveiling. A set of images leaked online today, allegedly showing the design of the upcoming Tizen-based smartphone from Samsung. Samsung Spain: Android 5.0 update is coming to Samsung Galaxy Note II

One of the great questions of our time has been answered by Samsung Spain. Or has it? In a tweet sent out today, Sammy's unit in Spain seemingly put an end to all the controversy by stating that the Samsung Galaxy Note II would be receiving the update to Android 5.0. Earlier today, we told you that a Facebook post made by Samsung Gulf (the Persian Gulf arm of the manufacturer) unequivocally stated that the soon to be three-year old phablet would not be updated.

Two days before unveiling, ZTE Nubia Z9 has its price leaked

The bezel-less ZTE Nubia Z9 is expected to be unveiled on May 6th. The manufacturer says that without side bezels, Nubia Z9 users will be able to use the extra real-estate on the display to run certain functions like changing the volume, brightness and other settings for the phone. ZTE reportedly calls this Fringe Interactive technology or FiT. The company is asking developers to come up with some more functions for the feature, and says that it is the "third interactive revolution" following Nokia's QWERTY keyboard introduced in the 1990s and the launch of the touchscreen Apple iPhone in 2007.

As some may already know, a couple of distinct sources claim that the second-generation Samsung Galaxy Tab S series of Android tablets will come with a very thin profile and a 4:3 display aspect ratio. According to a recent report from Sammobile, the Galaxy Tab S2 will be officially unveiled in June, 12 months after the unveiling of the first-generation line-up.
