An old legend has it that for every smartphone owner who hates selfie sticks, there are 100 others who constantly use them. Motorola seems to be well aware of this legend, as it just unveiled its first selfie stick, naturally called Moto Selfie Stick.

Now, the Moto Selfie Stick isn't like the other sticks out there. It's assembled by hand, and comes in several variants, including one that's made out of real wood and is dressed in hand-stitched leather (this would make a great pair with that red leather Moto X, wouldn't it?). Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy shut out of Apple Watch launch?

In the U.K., Carphone Warehouse CEO Graham Stapleton revealed on Tuesday that his 800 store chain will not be getting the Apple Watch, at least not during the launch of the device. Stapleton says that he would love to have the timepiece available in his stores, but says that Apple is "going another way with it." Based on Stapleton's comments, rumors that Best Buy will be shut out of the Apple Watch launch on April 24th would also appear to be true.

The kings of storage space: smartphones with 128 GB of internal memory

In case you haven't noticed, we've reached the point where a smartphone can offer the same amount of storage space as a decent laptop. In the near future, we'll even see mid-range smartphones with 128 GB of built-in memory, as Samsung recently developed a new NAND flash chip with that in mind. Of course, all this was inevitable, as high-end handsets with 32 GB of internal memory have been around for quite a while.

Right now, though, there aren't too many smartphones that provide 128 GB of storage space. But we've searched for the ones that do, and we're presenting them below, in chronological ...

 

T-Mobile's LG G3 users can manually update their phone to Android 5.0.1 right now

T-Mobile subscribers totin' the LG G3 have not yet received the update to Android 5.0. A look at the carrier's software update page for LG's current flagship device shows that there is no new update available. But using LG's mobile support tool, you might be able to have the update downloaded and installed on your phone in a matter of minutes. This process allows you to get the update directly from LG instead of T-Mobile.

HTC to pull the plug on the Sense TV app at the end of April

HTC has started informing its customers that the Sense TV app will be shuttered starting on April 30th. This feature allows an HTC One (M7) and an HTC One (M8) handset to be used as a smart TV remote using the IR blaster on the top of the device. On April 30th, the app will be be shut down and both One (M7) and One (M8) users (Android and Windows Phone) will be affected.

Once the Windows Phone and Android Sense TV apps close the doors for good at the end of April, those who have been using the apps will be pointed in the direction of Peel TV. This actually is not much of a surprise considering ...
