Oppo A11w receives certification by Indonesia's FCC; is this Oppo's "bezel-less" phone?
3/25/2015 1:54:00 AM
Over the last couple of days, we told you about a new Oppo handset that has quite a few smartphone fans excited. No, it has nothing to do with the specs of the phone. In fact, those haven't even been leaked at this point outside of the rumored size of the screen (5.5-inches). Instead, it's the "bezel-less" look of the device that has many looking at the unit with goo-goo eyes.
While images of the phone have leaked, including a video showing the screen in action, we really don't even know the name of this model. But we do have a clue. Indonesia's FCC has certified an unknown Oppo A11w ...
Photo collage of the HTC One E9+ reveals glossy looking plastic device with 5.5-inch QHD screen
3/25/2015 12:45:00 AM
Earlier this month, we showed you some images of the unannounced HTC One E9pt (A55). The specs made sense only if the p in "pt" stood for Plus. That appears to be the case as a new photo collage of the device calls it the HTC One E9+. Made with a glossy plastic body, the phone doesn't have the curve of the HTC One M9 in back which means that it is more svelte than HTC's new flagship model. The 5.5-inch screen is carrying a 1440 x 2560 resolution and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core 2.2GHz MediaTek MT-6795 CPU.
The One E9+ will have 3GB of RAM inside, with 32GB of native storage. There ...

While it might be possible to see Google introduce this at Google I/O in May, sources say that YouTube Live will be unveiled at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in June.
Last year, there was talk that Google would buy Twitch for $1 billion, but anti-trust problems forced Google to back away. Since Amazon stepped in and bought the video game streamer for $970 ...

3/24/2015 9:33:00 PM
A pair of new images allegedly showing off the Meizu MX Supreme was posted in China yesterday and today, revealing a home button which is said to have a fingerprint scanner embedded inside it. This is the handset that is believed to be the result of a collaboration between Meizu and Nokia. As part of Microsoft's purchase of Nokia Devices and Services, Nokia agreed not to compete in the smartphone market with a branded device until 2016.
There is some speculation that the MX Supreme will be an Android powered device with a PureView camera on back. A poster found last week on a Weibo page ...

Now that we're in 2015 and HP can no longer use Beats technology, the company announced that it teamed up with Bang & Olufsen, making it its new audio partner. As you may know, HP used to include Beats Audio technology (as well as the Beats logo) on some of its Android tablets, or PCs.
Founded 90 years ago, Bang & Olufsen is a Danish company with tradition in delivering high quality audio experiences. The company provides audio equipment for various ...

3/24/2015 6:53:00 PM
From now through 11:59am EDT tomorrow, you can head over to the Motorola website and purchase the first-generation Motorola Moto G LTE for just $159.99. That is a $40 discount from the regular $199.99 price of the handset. Motorola recently released the second-generation Motorola Moto G LTE, which is probably why the manufacturer is willing to get rid of the first-gen model so cheaply.
The first-generation Motorola Moto G LTE is equipped with a 4.5-inch screen carrying a 720 x 1280 resolution. This works out to a pixel density of 326ppi. A quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 CPU is under ...
